Lechenaultia formosa orange is an ideal rockery or container plant, useful for perenial borders. Growing to 50cm high and 30-60cm wide, its lush green leaves offset the bright orange/yellow, pea-shaped flowers that open in winter and spring.

We have some beautiful Lechenaultias growing in heavy granicular clay here at Austplant, demonstrating how tough these little beauties are. We recommend a site that is well-drained and receives plenty of sun. Prune lightly after flowering to maintain compact growth and prolong life.
